Dr. Nicole Daisy Ph.D., Owner of OCPC
Dr. Daisy has been providing therapeutic support services to individuals and families since earning her master’s degree in Psychology, specializing in Family Therapy in 1995 from Boston University. She later earned an additional master’s degree in 2000 in Psychology and doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University in 2005. Dr. Daisy is a certified School Psychologist. Dr. Daisy has received a supplemental grant from the National Institute on Drug Abuse. She is a research award recipient from the Family Violence Conference and has been published for her work on interpersonal trauma in the Journal of Family Violence.
Dr. Daisy specializes in treating interpersonal trauma, those who have been victims of physical and sexual abuse or domestic violence, and addiction, those who have developed eating disorders or an addiction to alcohol or substance abuse. Her experiences in clinical and research settings have provided her with the opportunity to work with a variety of populations in diverse treatment settings, including outpatient clinics, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Queens Children’s Psychiatric Center, St. Mary’s Children’s Hospital and St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital.
